Sioux Falls police are asking the public to stay home.
The police department released a no-travel advisory at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the midst of heavy snow paired with high wind speeds.
Visibility is currently near zero in town, and scattered slippery spots are making travel dangerous, police say.
Snow removal crews are out in full force, but street conditions are not favorable at this time.
